Briquette Machine Product

Charcoal Extruder Machine

Introduction

The charcoal extruder, also known as a briquette machine, is designed to compresse charcoal or coal powder into briquettes of various shapes. As coal and charcoal serve as crucial energy sources in modern industry, this machine stands as a key device for transforming usable raw materials into high-efficiency fuels. It enables full utilization of coal powder resources, lowers fuel costs, boosts coal calorific value, and delivers substantial economic benefits, making it an ideal choice for industrial charcoal briquette production.

  • Low coercivity

Applied Materials of Charcoal Extruder Machine

The main raw materials for charcoal making machines include coal dust, charcoal powder, and adhesive. Industrial settings commonly utilize coal dust, while charcoal powder is more frequently employed in everyday activities like barbecuing and residential heating.

Raw materials: Coal, charcoal, coke, graphite, silicon carbide, petroleum coke, etc.

Size: less than 3mm

Moisture content: The optimal moisture content for briquette production using a briquette extruder ranges from 10% to 14%. While other moisture levels are feasible for briquette making, they come with inherent drawbacks. Low moisture content increases friction during the process, resulting in slower coal output. High moisture content, on the other hand, produces softer briquettes that require longer drying time.

Adhesive: asphalt, starch, resins, sodium silicate, bentonite, plastic clay, lime and sodium, lignin, etc.

Final Product

Various shaped briquettes can be made with interchangeable molds. Molds are easy to change and have a long service life, so one machine can produce different briquettes to meet your needs.

Size: Briquettes typically come in standard sizes, with diameters ranging from 20 mm to 80 mm.

Cross-sectional shape: triangle, circle, square, rectangle, plum blossom shape, etc.

Finished charcoal briquettes are energy-efficient, eco-friendly, convenient for transportation, and enhance waste material utilization.

Working Principle of Charcoal Extruder Machine

Preparation: Crush coal or charcoal into powder, then mix it with a proper amount of binder. Common binders include starch, asphalt, and similar substances.

Mixing: Put the coal/charcoal powder and binder into a mixer for thorough blending, ensuring the binder coats the powder surface uniformly.

Raw Material Feeding: Feed the well-mixed raw materials into the charcoal extruder briquette machine via the feeding port.

Pressing and Molding: With the combined action of the machine’s screw and molds, the material is compressed to achieve a dense molding effect.

Features of Charcoal Extruder Machine
